Nowadays, computer networks constitute the backbone of modern society. The cyber-physical systems are ubiquitous, and the devices used daily are increasingly smarter, more connected, and more dynamic. Along with this technological growth, cybersecurity threats also increase simultaneously, as well as the regulations and approvals that industries, public administrations, and governments must comply with not to be subject to such threats attacks.
The student will become a cybersecurity expert, a multidisciplinary professional figure capable of operating in the design, development, and management of the cybersecurity of complex information systems. In addition to strong scientific and technical expertise, the student will acquire expertise legal skills, like civil legal skills (for example, the management of the European privacy legislation), criminal legal skills (for example, carrying out forensic analysis properly), and economical business skills (for example to manage the cybersecurity risk in an appropriate and economically aware manner).
