The Master of Science in Design for the Built Environment has an international dimension and is held in English.
The Course aims to form a figure of designer who places himself at the center of the transformative processes in the built environment, intended as a place of relationship and interaction between spaces, uses and behaviors, material and immaterial products. In this position, the designer can support the main changes in contemporary life, both on an individual and collective level, both in the public and private dimensions.
The Course forms a flexible designer able to adapt himself to the demand for constantly evolving skills, and able to move among the different fields of design, from product and service design to interior design and digital design. This presupposes a collaborative and multidisciplinary design approach typical of design, which makes use of multiple knowledge (cultural, technical-scientific, communication, representation, use and fruition aspects, historical-critical), considering its social and ethical implications.
